Keeping a check on Trump?
A recent letter to the editor, “Keeping a check on Trump,” asks a question I’d like to answer.
Her question was in regard to our president’s interview with Breitbart in which he was supposed to have said he had the support of the police, the military, and Bikers for Trump. The letter states the president said: “I have tough people, but they don’t play it tough until they go to a certain point and then it will be very, very bad.”
From the way it is written, I take it the writer is liberal and does not like President Trump.
The president not only has all these people’s support at the polls, but also at his rallies. Since day one, our president has been working to defend our Constitution and abide by it to the letter.
Unfortunately, many liberals have not.
Whether all liberals are suffering from Trump Disorder Syndrome or are just bad losers, they have done nothing but resist the good things President Trump has done and wants to get done for our great country. Liberals have had many destructive protests and must be held accountable. For the first time in a very long time, we finally have a president with a backbone and love for our country to do and say something about it.
I am glad the president doesn’t sugarcoat his words, at least not unless he really has to. But not being politically correct myself, I find what our president says is refreshing and I know where he is coming from.
I find it difficult to believe liberals are so sensitive and fragile that his rhetoric offends them.
Our president still has a lot of resistance like Sens. Pat Toomey and Bob Casey, especially when it comes to protecting us legal citizens from those invading our southern border. But he’ll overcome it. With Casey, that’s to be expected. He is a Democrat. Sen. Toomey is a different case. He has shown that he will not stand with his party so you know he won’t stand with his country. He is a liberal Democrat masquerading as a Republican.
In my opinion, neither Casey nor Toomey has our Constitution or country in our best interest. President Trump has proven time and time again that he certainly does.
