Vote Marc Friedenburg May 21

Market research tells us that we live in an area defined by party politics; history would back that up. Given that Republicans enjoy a two-to-one advantage or more in the newly drawn 12th Congressional District, logic would have it that any Republican nominee could simply show up and be voted into office. However, if voters were to look beyond their political stripes and evaluate the candidates running in the special election of May 21 (Independents as well as Green, Libertarians, and others) they would find a clear choice in backing Marc Friedenberg to succeed Tom Marino who resigned in January.

Friedenberg, a lawyer and educator from State College, has taken on Wall Street and big banks over their role in the predatory housing loan crisis. He is a firm believer in the Second Amendment but notes that the number one cause of death via guns is suicide and calls for actions like universal background checks to combat it Marc is passionate about building infrastructure, providing high speed internet service to our rural area, and creating meaningful training for good paying jobs. Friedenberg also has pledged to keep Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid for seniors secure and fully funded. He will work toward Medicare for all.

Vote Marc Friedenberg for Congress on May 21.
