Questions

How come in a state like Texas with its lax gun laws, no good guy with a gun stepped forward to take on the mass shooter in El Paso? Why did Texans rely on the police to handle it? This is the argument that the NRA and gun right advocates always push: it takes a good guy with a gun to take out a bad gun with a gun. So where were all of the good guys and gals in Texas with guns when this mass shooter showed up?

Speaking of the NRA, how can anyone trust that organization with the corruption that, in my opinion, is going on within it? It sounds like Wayne La Pierre used the organization as his own personal cash cow. He has taken back control. Who is going to investigate him? It has been bleeding money for years. Or did the price of a Republican politician go up?
