Although those words may not properly express the appreciation for all the kindness, love and acknowledgment that we have received over the past couple of weeks, it is safe to say that it is greatly appreciated by each and every one of us, and our families.

Thank you to those at Little League International Headquarters and Museum, including Steve Keener, Scott Rosenberg, Adam Thompson, Lance Van Auken and support staff, for their role in making our 50th year reunion a great success and an unforgettable experience. Their inclusion of us in the many activities surrounding the World Series and the acknowledgment was phenomenal.

Thank you to the countless friends, acquaintances and the community as a whole for the support and adoration shown to us along the ” Grand Slam Parade” route that was organized by the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce. It truly was a wonderful experience, on a beautiful day that went by too quickly. To see and hear all of the applause, waving and calling out to us from not only the local community but from the many attendees from around the world was truly heart warming. What a wonderful event!

Thank you to the staff of the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, including Bob Rolley, Jon Gerardi, Karen Kennedy, Mark Nance, Dave Kennedy and Barb Cioffi for their terrific coverage of the many events that took place during our reunion. You have provided us with documented memories that can be passed down through the generations, of the great experience that we had as children and were able to relive at this stage of our lives. No matter what may happen in our lives going forward, these memories cannot be taken away. A special thank you to Bob Rolley for commissioning and presenting to us the pin commemorating our 50th anniversary.

Thank you to Lou Hunsinger Jr., of the Webb Weekly, for the time he spent at our reunion, to chronicle the stories and memories of the only teammate to no longer be with us, in the way of Steve Kreamer, and to tell some of our story. Also, thanks to Chris Keating, of WNEP Channel 16, for the interview and coverage. Well done!

Last but not least, thank you to Rick Mahonski for his recognition of our accomplishment 50 years ago, by creating and presenting to us, a beautifully designed, special keepsake, for each of us to cherish. It is evident that Rick put a lot of thought, time and his goldsmithing talent into making these keepsakes for us. Rick mentioned, while presenting the gifts to us, that he had a clear recollection of what the whole experience meant to the community 50 years ago and that he just wanted to pay us back for it. What a wonderful gesture!

In preparing and organizing the reunion over the last year or so, a teammate opined that there probably were not too many people who remembered or cared about what a bunch of old guys did 50 years ago. As evidenced by our account of all that occurred over the last couple of weeks, it appears that nothing could be farther from the truth!

So again, thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!
