Religious freedom

Wow! I see the Christian right is at it once again. How dare the LGBTQ community protest Drew Brees for supporting Focus on the Family’s “Bring Your Bible to School Day.” The letter recently submitted states we have religious freedom and Christians have rights too.

Well if you truly believe in religious freedom, then it would be more than bring a Bible to school and sharing it with others at school. Why not include other religious texts and have that shared too, or is it just the promotion of the Christian faith in schools only?

Focus on the Family has made it clear they are against the members of the LGBTQ community adopting children, getting married, and more. You want to know why the LGBT community is mad. Tell me what rights have Christians lost other than they can be cruel to those they deem not Christian?

Members of the LGBTQ community are Americans too. Some are even members of the Christian faith. But there are still some in the Christian community trying to deny the LGBTQ community their American rights.

I have nothing against school children sharing their faith with others as long as all faiths are equally shared. However if you are using this to promote an agenda against specific members of society, then there is a problem.
