Veterans and how they are treated by the government

A 74-year-old U.S. Army Veteran with almost 14 years of service recently returned home to Pennsylvania after 40 years.

The reason for his return was due to declining health. Upon his return, family took him to the VA Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre where he was treated and released into a Veterans Nursing Home. Almost a year after his release from the medical center, he received a letter from the U.S. Treasury stating he had unpaid medical bills from the V.A Medical Center and that they are going to garnish his Social Security.

I think this is a crime against our military veterans and we need to shed more light on these issues.
