Not wanting to cause panic?
From President Trump not wanting to cause panic:
Regarding immigrants on June 24, 2018: “We cannot allow all of these people to invade our country.”
Regarding a vaccine for COVID-19 on May 8: “Well, I feel about vaccines like I feel about tests. This is going to go away without a vaccine. It’s going to go away, and it’s… Sometime in the fall, you’ll have flare-ups maybe. Maybe not. But according to what a lot of people say, you probably will … You may have some flare-ups next year, but eventually, it’s going to be gone. I mean, it’s going to be gone.
“You know, there are some viruses and flus that came, and they went for a vaccine, they never found the vaccine, and they’ve disappeared. They’ve never shown up again. They got — they die too, like everything else. They die too.”
Regarding protests on July 21: “We’re not going to let this happen in our country, all run by liberal Democrats.”
Regarding suburbia degradation on July 26: “Your home will go down in value, and crime rates will rapidly rise. People have worked all their lives to get into a community, and now they’re going to watch it go to hell.”
Regarding the election on June 22: “Rigged 2020 election: Millions of mail-in ballots will be printed by foreign countries and others.”
Regarding Woodward audio recording on March 19: “I wanted to always play it down … I still like playing it down, because I don’t want to create a panic.”
Think America!
Our country deserves better than this type of disgraceful rhetoric!
