When President Biden was recently asked about the average American family affording the high prices at the gas pump, he said now was a good time to buy an electric car. And Marie Antoinette said that if the peasants can’t afford bread, they should buy cake! But now PP&L has announced a 30% increase in electric rates. And the price of cake is soaring, too. Whoops! And the price of electricity won’t come down under Biden because Biden’s restrictions on America’s energy independence are no more “temporary” than Biden’s inflation is. And we suspect that if the White House press corps ever confronted Biden with these electrical facts, he’d asininely suggest that Americans get donkey carts. Of course these carts will be powered by EPA-approved low-methane donkeys — like the Democratic Donkeys in the White House.
