Twitter should fix the feds
Elon Musk’s Twitter dumps have proven what has long been obvious: the politicization of the FBI and the Department of Justice. However, Musk’s exposure might leave Americans now wondering what can be done about what is in our opinion an illegal, unconstitutional and unAmerican situation. But Musk has also shown us the solution. Musk has already fired at least 50% of the staff at Twitter for being both unnecessary and deleterious to the fair and efficient operation of Twitter.
And now the same must be done at the FBI and the Department of Justice. A new president of the United States like Musk at Twitter must come in and fire all the corrupt and time-serving top staff at those two places. Of course there’s a lot of bleating and screaming at Twitter as this is being done. But suddenly there’s also free speech at Twitter once again.
And once again, we believe, there’ll be constitutional equality of the law at the Department of Justice and the FBI. Meanwhile, even as we await such Musk-like leadership in the White House after the 2024 election, the House in 2023 can expose the rot at the Department of Justice and FBI with dump-like hearings. And the House can then salubriously reduce funding at the FBI and Department of Justice to induce some temporary improvements of behavior at those top-rotten institutions.
