The change we need

As a lifelong Democrat, I never thought I would see myself voting for a Republican. However, after years of voting the same way, it’s clear the party I grew up with no longer represented my values. McCormick feels like that same kind of outsider – someone who can shake up things and put Pennsylvania on the right path again.

I am proud to be a Democrat who supports Dave McCormick for the U.S. Senate. While we may not agree on everything, his fundamental values of building an economy for all, securing our border, and supporting working families are the things that matter to me most.

Dave McCormick will prioritize the safety and prosperity of our commonwealth. His military and business background bring new ideas to the table and provide a path to success for all Pennsylvanians. Not only will Dave benefit the commonwealth with his plan, he will also lead the rest of the country to a more safe and affordable future.

To my fellow Democrats who are worried about taking a chance with Dave McCormick, let me put it into perspective for you. Bob Casey has had the opportunity to confront these issues for the past 18 years, but instead he has morphed into a far-left rubber stamp that even his late father wouldn’t recognize. Casey supported five trillion dollars in reckless spending, open borders, Venezuelan-like price controls, abortion up until the due date, and student loan forgiveness. What happened to common sense and working-class values?

It’s said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. This election is not different. I believe it is time to set aside party identification and focus on the values and priorities of the candidate. That’s why I’ll be voting for Dave McCormick on November 5th to support the kind of our leadership commonwealth desperately needs.
