A disillusioned Democrat

After reading Verna Caruso’s opinion piece, Why Donald Trump won the presidency, I understand better the radical viewpoint of the fat left. Basically, Caruso is telling us those voted for Trump are not educated enough or have the time to know all the facts. Yet she does and several other radical Democrats who would rather focus on pronouns and deciding the gender of children. She forgets the election was a landslide with the presidency, Senate and House going Republican.

Caruso fails to mention the average American is paying way more for groceries, fuel and utilities that impact our daily lives. She is out of touch like her Democratic colleagues and Americans responded at the polls. Maybe the Democrats will return to common sense issues instead of focus on pronouns and transgender surgeries. When the Harris campaign spends one billion and ends up 20 million in debt, I think we can say thank you and she isn’t our president.

To quote Caruso, ” It’s not the fault of the Harris campaign or the Democratic Party that they didn’t do this or that. The fault lies at the other end of the split–with the voters. They just didn’t get it.” No Ms. Caruso. The voters got it right. The ones who didn’t get it right and still don’t get it right is disillusioned Democrats like you for failing to realize your policies don’t work and people don’t want. But keep putting out the scare tactics that Trump will bankrupt social security. What will bankrupt social security is the 12 million illegals in this country because of your party’s open border policies.

Voters didn’t forget what life was like during Trump’s first term. And that is the reason he is our next president despite how liberals loathe him.
