rmiller,

Thank you for an excellent response. IMO, Those who believe that life "just happened" ,& to be politically correct, without "intelligent design" are only fooling themselves. I for one take great comfort in knowing that there is something far, far greater than myself, & mankind. Again, thanks for an excellent post-Scott

Scott,

God has given every animal a built in mechanism (to use modernist linguistics) called "adaption", not to be confused or construed to indicate evolution. It is nice to know you don't for one second believe that you came from an ape/monkey or primate. The largest whole in that theory (and it is only a theory) is that we still have those primates and we still have people (humans). A link to link theory becomes irrational when the "missing link" is not discovered. It takes a much less greater leap of faith to believe that everything that exists, evolved from something else - one can never come to a beginning. How shallow and empty and always living in a state of flux. If anything is constantly evolving, it is science.

...I guess that would be me too, Bobbie... -rmiller

Only if you believe that everybody who does not agree with "the other religion"-conservatism, is a rat, parasite, or whatever other offensive word they can spell.

So corporate welfare is a tax break? Right?-bubbazanetti

I would assume so, or a large amount of them. The same principle that some complain about the poor getting.

Scott, I was being flippant with my liberals principles comment, because in reality the "principles' issue crosses all groups of people. Sorry you didn't take it that way.-rmiller

I agree with the principle topic, sorry if I offended.

On a serious note the evolution shot was a "target of opportunity" if you will. Evolution though is worthy of some comment, as I understand it, there is "macro", & "micro" evolution. Macro means a dinosaur turning into a bird.---Sorry but IMO LOL!!! Micro meaning that an animal will slowly change in certain ways in order to survive in a changing climate, environment, etc.. But a chipmunk is still a chipmunk. I truly would appreciate your thoughts. Scott

"We were talking corporate welfare" as in?: "But if you think that corporations should make tens of millions or more & pay zero in taxes, or get a refund, & not call it some kind of welfare, I would like to know your definition of it"? So corporate welfare is a tax break? Right?

"Pitiful response, Just admit it...Ya got nothing. BTW, On the evolutionary ladder, rats & parasites are higher up than conservatives. Just thought ya might like to be informed."

While I don't believe in evolution (having more respect for my Creator than that)if I were to believe such nonsense...I guess that would be me too, Bobbie...

It's lonely down here, not many of us...

Bobbie, What is the difference if they are not paying any taxes, or getting refunds? Pitiful deflection to avoid responding. I gave you an answer, why is it so hard for you to do the same?

Bobbie, You asked me to explain what I meant by corporate welfare. I stated a fact that I am not a corporate attorney/accountant. By your shall we say unusual way of thinking, that ended the discussion. VERY WEAK deflection. Just admit you are in over your head. You do not have a "conservative talking point" to counter with. I'll understand, but please at least try to stay with the original point. Trust me, I will understand.

BubbaZanetti, We were talking "corporate welfare"---& it would seem biddy ran out of the conversation, so if you wish, look at my prior comment in response to her. Feel free to comment on it, I will return the favor if you wish--Scott

"Remember Corporations are people" That's right and I work for a corporation. The more my company gets taxed, the less money we make, and that means I make less also. So if they get taxed less or little at all, that's welfare? I work hard to help the company earn money. How is letting people like me, keep more of what we earn, called welfare? If the company does good, the people do good as well.

Bobbie, It would appear that you are afraid to dispute what you asked me to explain. If you do not have your own opinion about what I posted, go ahead let loose with another dopey shot, I understand.

Bippy, Would you like to dispute what I have said, OR just hide behind your usual dimwitted remarks? Me suspects you are afraid to respond to a "low IQ" person, as you might end up being found to be lacking.

Sure, explain to us corporate welfare.-Bobbie2 Biddy, I am not a corporate attorney/accountant. But if you think that corporations should make tens of millions or more & pay zero in taxes, or get a refund, & not call it some kind of welfare, I would like to know your definition of it. BUT I know, I know, tax the poor so everyone has a stake in it. Remember Corporations are people.
