Paul E. Bubb Sr., 79, of Linden, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly, Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at his home.
Born Dec. 18, 1933, in Bastress, he was a son to the late Ralph and Rose (Baier) Bubb.
Paul was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an honest man, a wonderful provider for his family and was always willing to help out everybody. He loved spending time on his farm and hunting with his son and friends.

Paul attended Jersey Shore High School until ninth grade, when he left to take care of his ailing father. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Paul worked at Sears as a delivery truck driver. He enjoyed buying and working on cars. Paul was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7863, in DuBoistown.
Surviving are his loving wife of 57 years, Helen (Baylor) Bubb; three children, Sharon Sterner, of Lock Haven, Paul Jr. (Melissa) Bubb, of Linden and Deb Bubb, of Linden; a brother, Hubert "Pete" Bubb, of Williamsport; Seven grandchildren, Pauly, Justin, Jordan, Shannon, Ronald, Jeremiah and Isabella; four great-grandchildren, Evan, Eli, Trey and Jayden; and his beagles.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by seven siblings, Lewis, Gerald and Harold Bubb, Ruth Nau, Rita Bubb, Helene Baier and Mary Hamm.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at Sanders Mortuary.
