Insurance agent to
serve on coalition
Allstate Insurance Co. has selected exclusive agency owner Rennie Rodarmel to serve on Allstate's 2013 Motorcycle Agency Coalition.
The Motorcycle Agency Coalition was established by Allstate as a way to give agency owners who specialize in motorcycle insurance a voice in their local communities. Members are involved actively in motorcycle advocacy, safety and protection initiatives in support of riders in their area, a news release said. Typically, members are lifestyle enthusiasts, and many agency owners are riders themselves who understand the interests and protection needs of motorcyclists.
"It's a tremendous honor to serve on this coalition," said Rodarmel. "Rider safety is a top concern in our communities. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 189 motorcyclists lost their lives in crashes in Pennsylvania in 2011. One is too many. I am proud to be able to represent my community and my company and help keep motorcycle riders safe when they're on the road."
"I'm very pleased that Rennie is representing the Motorcycle Agency Coalition in Williamsport. At Allstate we understand the importance of protecting riders as well as their bikes," says Keith Rutman, vice president of Allstate's specialty product lines division, "and Rennie is a trusted advisor to motorcyclists in his community."
Only three percent of Allstate agents countrywide are invited to participate in the prestigious group each year.
Rodarmel has been an entrepreneur in the Williamsport community for 35 years. His office is located at 921 Westminster Drive, Williamsport, and offers a full line of insurance products, including motorcycle insurance. Rodarmel can be reached by phone at 326-6645, via email at RRodarmel@allstate.com or online at www.rodarmelinsurance.com.
