United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. This Wednesday, Amy Seyler, church relations chairwoman for this region for Operation Christmas Child of Samaritan Purse, will be the speaker and will talk about how the shoe box donations bring blessings around the world. A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.
