After 85 years serving the greater Wyoming Valley area, Jack Williams Tire announces the opening of its Mountain Top location.
"We've had Mountain Top in our plans for several years now, so we're happy the day has finally arrived", Jack Williams Tire chairman and CEO Bill Williams said, according to a news release. Local Mountain Top resident and 37-year company veteran, John McGroarty will join the additional 14 technicians and associates at this newest location.
The Mountain Top store includes a kid friendly waiting area, free Wi-Fi, an Internet bar and free shuttle service, according to the news release. The location will include an inventory of a large selection of name brand tires, custom wheels and can perform auto service and repairs, including state inspection, brakes, wheel alignments, oil changes, maintenance and more.
The Mountain Top location is located on South Mountain Boulevard, near the Crestwood School District.
To mark the official grand opening of their 29th location and as a continued effort to give back to the community, Jack Williams Tire made a $500 donation to Mary Grace Eckert and her efforts to support the Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, the news release said. Mary Grace is a 6th grade student at St. Jude School in Mountain Top, who for the last two years has dedicated countless hours and effort to support wounded veterans in Pennsylvania, through collection bins and words for support through holiday greeting cards.
"I wouldn't be able to do what I do without these veterans," Mary Grace said, according to the news release.
