The major portion of the changes in the nation's health care law as it regards individuals are about to take effect. Do you know what's in it for you and how it will impact your premiums?

  1. Yes.
  2. No.
  3. I don't have health coverage at this time and welcome whatever is coming my way, not matter the cost or who pays what for it.
  4. I don't have health care coverage and don't want it at this time, so this is an intrusion I never asked for.

It was announced that our companies health care that we have been paying for 20 years will go up 70%. How is Obamma Care fair?? Obamma sold us a out right lie. There is no other way of looking at it. I hope its not too late to stop this unfair health care law.

The first effect was the loss of our employer paid insurance, the 2nd effect was it will cost me nearly $600.00 per month more than what was originally being paid. The 3rd effect was my wages did not go up by the amount the employer was paying to pay for the cost. 4th the deductibles that I will now pay are 3 times higher than my previous. Welcome to the "Hope and Change".

below quote from tacosalad- i think it is horrible that nobody was given the chance to read the stupid law, remember, we had to pass it to be able to find out what was in it and we had no time, it had to be voted on right away, like an emergency like everything Obumbler wanted passed.Thats unpatriotic!

"trying to tear down legislation that others have worked so hard on, without fully understanding that law yourself is anti-patriotic and seditious. "

the prognosis for Medicaid recipients is often bleak, with some studies showing that Medicaid patients suffer poorer health outcomes than patients with no medical insurance at all. Pennsylvania doctors exposed to Medicaid typically experience such severe bureaucratic overkill and anemic reimbursement rates that fully one-third of them now refuse to treat Medicaid patients. ObamaCare uses the troubled Medicaid program as a gateway to expanded welfare spending, bypassing states’ heightened fiscal and moral defenses. Under the Obamacare law, states were to be forced to expand their Medicaid spending by enrolling not only the poor, but also people who earn up to 133 percent of the poverty level.

Sorry I made my whole statement up. I will go back to cleaning my gun now. State Rep. Stephen Bloom “President Barack Obama’s malignant welfare state is growing aggressively, its hungry tentacles reaching deeper and further into the economic lifeblood of our country, systematically draining vital energy from the hardworking taxpayers upon which it feeds.” “Masquerading as a source of improved health and quality of life, ObamaCare instead spreads escalating costs, unintended consequences and demoralizing confusion” “Obamacare is rapidly infecting what was once the most innovative healthcare system in the world with crippling mediocrity, simultaneously killing jobs and transplanting chronic dependency.” “For example, one in six Pennsylvanians is now on Medicaid, and rising Medicaid spending has now spiked to drain a full 27 percent of our annual state spending of tax dollars.” Worse, the prognosis for Medicaid recipients is often bleak, with some studies showing that

A lot of ignorant citizens on here are "sure it will raise their premiums" but admit to having absolutely no idea what the law is about or how it impacts them. No one cares how hard you have worked your whole life. If you don't know what you're talking about, any points you try to make are invalid. A huge percentage of the health care burden this country is saddled with is from people who have worked hard their whole lives, but outlived their coverage and savings. Are you suggesting you wouldn't want to be helped to die peacefully? Intentionally rallying people to ensure a government reform fails is shameful. I don't know if I would have voted for the law. I'm torn. But to sit on your butt at home, cleaning your shotgun and listening to Glen Beck while trying to tear down legislation that others have worked so hard on, without fully understanding that law yourself is anti-patriotic and seditious.

I see at this time there are 62% of the people polled don't know what "Obamacare" is about or how it effects them. The magic words for today are, "read the*****thing"it's on line and give "obamacare" a chance. If Orville would have said to Wilbur, it ain't going to fly and they didn't try, you'd be taking the bus!

@VinceKnauff - I voted no, and I am not an Obama voter. I had to vote no because I have insurance provided through my job. I believe this will continue, but I'm not sure. I also don't know how much the portion I pay will go up (and I'm fairly certain it will go up), if it continues. Thus, the "no" vote.

Congress doesn't want it, Staffers on capital hill don't want it, Unions don't want it, why the heck would we want it? This is a terrible law and needs to be stopped. Pay the fine and don't sign up and it will fail for sure, why should hard working tax paying people have to pay for everybody who doesn't contribute to anything? More Obamagarbage, trash in, trash out!

I know what it will do, RAISE my premiums, because I am someone who has worked hard to better myself and not to put my burden on the rest of society, so why should I not be punished. I should raise my children to be lazy, sit back and go through life unburden and not worrying if they can afford anything. The government will use the hard worker of America to pay for them to have equal rights to everthing they have, they will pay for them to enjoy a stress free life. No need to go to college they will be indebt forever, never be able to repay the rising costs, and go through life paying for the less fortunate AKA lazy. This is the new American way. Granted legitimately sickly people do need to have the rights for affordable healthcare even if there is a preexisting condition, no argument there. I have no problem helping out there, but when is the government going to start forcing perfectly healthy people to better themselves and to stop pushing the burdens onto the hard working Ame

Those that chose "no" are probably Obama voters. Boy are they in for a surprise.
