WAHS baseball and softball earn CPL all-star nods

The Central Penn League announced its baseball and softball all-star teams on Monday and Williamsport was represented in both sports.

The Millionaires’ baseball team won the league championship this year and Kyle Schneider was named Coach of the Year thanks to coaching the Millionaires to the district championship and into the state playoffs, taking over as coach approximately midway through the season.

Ethen Stryker was named to the CPL all-star team as a midfielder, Quentin Brown was named to the all-star team as an outfielder and Williamsport pitcher Tanner Esposito was named to the team as well.

In softball, Williamsport had a pair of players earn honors.

Infielder Katie Meale and outfielder Mariah Wright both were named to the CPL all-star team.
