Southern’s Julian Fleming will play football at Ohio State
Southern Columbia’s Julian Fleming — the top-ranked wide receiver prospect in the nation — announced on a video on his Twitter on Friday morning that he would be playing football at Ohio State.
Ohio State was one of Fleming’s final five schools, along with Penn State, Clemson, Alabama and Georgia.
The 6-foot-2, 199-pound receiver said on his video announcement “to me, Ohio State is home.”
Fleming is the first top-ranked player from Pennsylvania that Ohio State has gotten since Noah Spence in 2012. Last season Fleming had 78 catches for 1,412 yards and 22 touchdowns. Defensively, he also had four interceptions, three of which he returned for touchdowns.
