Golf tip of the week: Keep the hand muscles soft
Keeping the hands quiet throughout the swing can improve your game beyond belief.
Most golfers involve the hands as soon as they take the club back. The hands should remain relaxed and in front of the chest throughout the swing.
Keep the hands away from the body and execute the swing with the core. The only movement of the hands should be when the wrists cock vertically at waist high, thumbs up.
Imagine your hands are frail and relaxed as if your hands are asleep. As your shoulders turn on the backswing, keep the muscles in the hands soft, it requires a great deal of concentration and patience.
Don’t forget to enjoy this great game called golf.
