Penn College softball coach Jackie Klahold resigned from her position to accept the coaching job at Wilkes on Friday. Klahold became Penn College’s first full-time softball coach in 2016 and went 79-70 in four seasons and led the Wildcats to three NEAC postseason berths.

Klahold was named the NEAC North Division Coach of the Year in 2017 and guided the Wildcats to the NEAC championship game last season.

• Junior Elle Jednorski led the Lycoming College volleyball team with eight kills, but Arcadia hit .358 to post a 3-0 (25-14, 25-22, 25-11) MAC Commonwealth win.

Senior Emily Morris had 13 assists and three digs and senior Lindsay Beck had six digs.
