Bald Eagles fall at home to Kutztown
LOCK HAVEN – Kyle Knight found Jalen Jackson for a 4-yard touchdown reception to cut the deficit to just one point, but Kutztown scored three consecutive touchdowns to pull away en route to a 35-12 win Saturday afternoon.
Jackson’s TD catch made it a 7-6 game with 9:48 to play in the second quarter.
Jackson, a Williamsport grad, led the Bald Eagles with six receptions for 44 yards and a TD.
Collin DiGalbo threw for 181 yards and a TD for Kutztown and also had a 1-yard run in the first quarter to put Kutztown ahead, 7-0.
Lock Haven’s Chantz Swartz had a 1-yard score to start the fourth quarter to cut the deficit to 28-12. Swartz ended with a team-high 18 attempts and 61 yards. He also had the Bald Eagles’ only rushing touchdown.
The Bald Eagles did well limiting Kutztown’s running attack, not allowing any single rusher to have over 40 yards.
