ROUNDUP: Pena-Vasquez scores in OT in Williamsport’s win

Playing in a steady rain all day, Williamsport’s Hemberth Pena-Vasquez scored at the 5 minute, 49 second mark of overtime to give the Millionaires a 1-0, overtime win over Danville. Williamsport won despite being outshot, 8-6. Elliott Wannop made five saves for the shutout.

Hayden Swinehart scored four goals, three of which were assisted by Quaid Molino, as South Williamsport defeated Bloomsburg in boys soccer, 9-0. Molino added his own goal in the 54th minute.

Muncy scored a pair of second-half goals to come from behind to beat Troy, 4-3. Joe Edkin and Collin Smith scored the goals, with Smith scoring the game-winner on a penalty kick.

• Jackie Stokes scored the first three goals to lead Meadowbrook Christian to a 4-1 win over North Penn-Mansfield in girls soccer. Aleiah Jackson scored the Tigers’ lone goal, driving home the rebound of another shot.

• Alli Macensky recorded a career high 16 kills and Makenna Shuemaker had 15 digs as Galeton defeated Coudersport, 3-0 (26-24, 26-24, 25-22). Kate Kulish added 13 assists for Galeton.

Breigh Kemp served all 25 points in the final set and Caitlyn Callahan recorded her 750th career kill as Wellsboro defeated South Williamsport, 3-0 (25-2, 25-5, 25-0). Kemp finished with a game-high 34 points, and Callahan finished with 17 kills to get to 751 for her career.

• Sophomore Andrew Everetts led the Lycoming golf team for the third straight tournament, posting a 97, at the Lehigh Country Club. He finished 79th in the field of 88 to lead the Warriors, who finished 18th in the field.

• Four Lycoming women’s tennis players won both their singles and doubles matches to lead the team to its second consecutive win, 8-1, over Penn College. The Warriors swept all six singles flights.

Junior Madi Heller and sophomore Wiliana Lundy defeated Tijana Mrkalj and Cassie Shook, 8-2, at No. 2 doubles before Heller downed Shook, 8-0, at No. 3 singles and Lundy beat Deidre Satterly, 8-3, at No. 4.

With a pair of victories to become the first Lycoming tennis player to reach the 90-career win mark, senior Hannah Summerson extended her school record to 12 MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week awards. Summerson earned her second straight MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week.
