Lycoming men’s hoops defeats Rosemont

Shooting a season-best 52 percent from the floor, Lycoming had five players finish in double figures as it defeated Rosemont, 96-83, on Sunday afternoon.

Mo Terry led the way with 23 points, five rebounds, four assists and two blocks and Matt Ilodigwe added 17 points and two helpers. Darius Dangerfield posted 15 points, five assists and two steals, Dyson Harward posted 14 points, eight rebounds, five blocks – tied for eighth-most in school history, and two steals and DeAundre Manuel had 14 points and eight rebounds.

Penn College lost 112-105 in overtime to SUNY Delhi. Fred Young led with a team-high 25 points and Elijah Vazquez added 16. Ben Sosa had seven points and 10 rebounds and Kalen Veres added eight points and five assists.

• In women’s basketball, Penn College dropped a 68-43 decision to Adrian College in the Alvernia Tip-Off tournament. Galeton grad, Makaya Shadle led the Wildcats with a team-high nine points off the bench. Loyalsock grad, Cassie Kuhns added eight points and had five rebounds.
