Not all swings are the same

You may have noticed all good golfers do not look the same when they swing, however, they all have common denominators. If you apply the same common denominators, you will also improve your ball striking.

The common denominators are:

1. Good posture at address, with the chin up.

2. A relaxed grip.

3. A one-piece takeaway.

4. Coil with the shoulders turning around the spine.

5. The most important common denominator is maintaining good balance throughout the swing.

Some modern professionals have introduced the world to swinging as hard as possible, but the key is maintaining balance.

Imagine standing on ice while maintaining your balance or comparing your swing to a roller coaster picking up speed.

Don’t start the downswing by jerking the club. Allow it to build up momentum gradually. This will enable you to gain more clubhead speed while maintaining balance.

Don’t forget to enjoy this great game called golf.
