For the second year in a row, South Williamsport’s Ella Moore is an all-state selection. Moore, a junior, was named all-state this year via the Mid-Penn Conference all-star selections in girls soccer as a number of area players were honored on both the girls and boys teams.

This is the fourth straight year South Williamsport had an all-state selection, as Moore joins Piper Minier (2021-22) as a back-to-back all-state selection in the 2020s.

South Williamsport coach Marc Lovecchio was named Mid-Penn Girls Soccer Coach of the Year.

Earning first-team honors at forward from the area were Montgomery junior Zoe Furman, Muncy sophomore Ava Eyer, South Williamsport’s Olivia Loudenslager and Moore. Muncy junior Ella Nagel, Sullivan County junior Lily McCarty and South Williamsport senior Abby Akers were first-team midfield selections.

At defender, Muncy junior Emma McCormick, Muncy freshman Eva Nagel and South Williamsport senior Olivia Reagan were honored.

Muncy senior goalie Addi Gresh was a first-team Mid-Penn selection.

Montgomery’s Aleaha Grimm, Muncy’s Alexis McKeta, South Williamsport’s Addy Morrison and Sullivan County’ s Mariah Hallabuk were honorable mention all-stars.

On the boys side, Benton’s Max Kocher was named all-state and Benton coach Harry Schlichter was named Coach of the Year.

Sullivan County junior Tucker Blasi, South Williamsport senior Logan Harris and Montgomery sophomore Dylan Sherman were all first-team forwards. Montgomery senior Dylan Hill, Sullivan County senior Christopher Koschak and South Williamsport senior Evan Ogden were named first-team midfielders.

South Williamsport senior Michael Yoas and Montgomery junior Damaj Stewart-Williams were first-team Mid-Penn defenders. Receiving honorable mention honors were Muncy’s Bodie Moyer, Montgomery’s Conor Irwin, South Williamsport’s Carson Harris and Sullivan County’s Ethan Strain.
