CV’s Stone named NTL Player of the Year in girls tennis
Cowanesque Valley’s Kylee Stone put together a solid season en route to earning Northern Tier League girls tennis Player of the Year honors this fall.
She’s one of a handful of local players to garner first- or second-team accolades.
The NTL first team consisted of Towanda’s Lainey Alderfer, North Penn-Liberty’s Annie Johns, Wellsboro’s Olivia Gage, Towanda’s Nadia Alderfer and Wellsboro’s Carys Barlett.
On the second team were Cowanesque Valley’s Chelsea Wattles, North Penn-Liberty’s Elyna Booth, Towanda’s Emma Ackley, North Penn-Liberty’s Elena Hazelton and Wellsboro’s Evelyn Wetherbee.
