The results of the local Invitational Doubles Tournament, held at Harvest Moon on November 10. After qualifying in third place, the team of Kara Emmert and Mike Pepperman moved through the four-team Stepladder Final to beat the top qualifying team of Jim Horton and Stacy Gridley, to win the Championship.
A long-standing local tradition, this tournament was revived after a several-years hiatus. It pairs the 16 top men in average from the previous season with the 16 top women, in reverse order, the highest averaging female teaming with the lowest averaging male, and so on down the line.
Hope to see you on the lanes.
