Warrior Run had three wrestlers secure championship titles at the 2024 Darren Klingerman Invitational at Bloomsubrg on Saturday afternoon.

The Defenders’ Reagan Milheim defeated Shamokin’s Chase Pensyl to claim the 160-pound title, 21-5, 3:23. Max Wirnsberger followed wtih a major decision win at 172 against Carlisle’s Steffon Urban, 11-0, before Tyler Ulrich won at 189 via fall in 3:19 over Abington heights’ Brian Heard.

Sullivan County’s Colton Wade won at 127 by tech fall, 18-2, 3:23 against Tamaqua’s Aiden Schlier.

North Penn-Liberty’s Bryce Pequignot had a second-place finish at 121 after he lost by tech fall to Hanover’s CJ Caines 19-3, 5:30.

North Penn-Liberty’s Bodhi Nickerson took third at 107 against Mount Carmel’s Brayden Mirarck, winning via major decision, 12-2. Liberty’s Charles AUmick finished fourth at 114 after he was pinned in 2:55 by Crestwood’s Nick Webb.

Sullivan COunty’s Andrew Kapec won a third-place title at 121 with a 13-0 major decision win over Chase Wirnsberger. Hughesville’s Chase Shaner was also a third-place finisher, doing so at 133 with a 4-2 decision against Red Land’s Garrett Anderson.

Warrior Run’s Isaiah Betz defeated Mahanoy’s Kyler Quick by decision, 7-0, at 189. Sullivan County’s Keegan Bagley took fourth with a 7-3 decision loss to Red Land’s Maclane Englert at 139. Liberty’s Riley Oakes also was a fourth-place finisher with an 11-6 loss to Pine Grove’s Austin Martin.

Hughesville’s Conor Knight lost a tough battle at 172 to Honesdale’s Mason Avery, losing by just one point in a 3-2 decision loss.

In the fifth-place finals, Hughesville had three wrestlers secure victories. Ethan Wodrig won at 114 with a 18-3, 5:00 tech fall against Shamokin’s Xavier Carr. Kile Hartman of the Spartans won fifth at 145 by beating Brockway’s Colton Ross via decision, 4-0. Wyatt Gavitt of Hughesville won the 189 fifth-place title by edging Jayden Hamm of South Williamsport in a close contest by decision, 1-0.

Warrior RUn had a trio of fifth-place winners as well. Caden Snyder won at 127 by fall over Pine Grove’s Gage Clearly in 1:59, Stone Allison won at 215 via a medical forfeit and at 285, Noah Johnson won for the Defenders by beating Carlisle’s Jamil Jones via decision, 8-1.

Hughesville’s Wesley Harvey took sixth after he was pinned at 139 by Brien Reynolds in 2:55.

South Williamsport’s Garrett Bacorn took seventh at 107 with a 5-0 decision win against Jace Jamison of Central Columbia. Hughesville’s Landen Puderbach took seventh at 145 with a fall against Central Columbia’s Josiah Hosler in 4:32. Hughesville’s Mason Mordan also took seventh at 160 by beating Brockway’s Blake Pisarcic by decision, 5-0.

Sullivan County’s Layne Price took seventh at 152 by pinning Hanover’s Michael Perez in 2:25. Sulivan County’s Cole Barto finished eighth at 121 after he was pinned in 30 seconds by Red Land’s Pierson Hoffman.
