LHU’s Noto, Fegley and Bassett all earn All-District honors
LOCK HAVEN — Anthony Noto, Colin Fegley and Avery Bassett of the Lock Haven men’s wrestling team have been named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Division I Academic All-District Men’s At-Large Team.
Noto, Fegley and Bassett were also named 2024-25 National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division I Individual Scholar All-Americans and earned spots on the 2024-25 Mid-American Conference Wrestling All-Academic Team.
Noto soured to his fourth MAC Individual Championship this season and became the first Bald Eagle to win four consecutive MAC individual titles.
Bassett and Fegley also qualified for the NCAA DI National Championship, while the trio helped lead the Bald Eagles to their third MAC Team Title in four years.
The 2025 Academic All-District Men’s At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The award, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in their field of competition, and in the classroom.
