Brittany Weidler’s 799 series in the Thursday Night Bowling League last week, not only topped all the women, but also beat all the men. Not that Nick Becker did not come close, as he tossed two series above 750, the highest one being a 795 in the Lycoming Engines League to lead all local men for a second week in a row.

Weidler’s big series featured all three games above 245 and included a 290 which proved to be the high women’s game of the week. David Briggs fired a 300 game in the Thursday Night Bowling League as did Jim Horton in the Thursday Night Men’s League and Daniel Jamison, who posted the first perfect game of his career in that same league.

In the Faxon Classic League, Lew Johnson was 90-plus pins above his average with a 277, while Theresa Dunlap was 60 pins above her average with a 182 in the Noxaf League. Exceeding their average by more than 50 pins were Jamie Welty with a 199 in the Wednesday Night Ladies, Tiffany Tibbens with a 236 in the Sunday Funday League, Lisa Reed with a 237 in the Sunday Night Mixed league, Cheryl Martin with a 214 in the Wednesday Ladies League, and Kelly Floreno with a 229 in the Mitey 8 League.
