Lock Haven’s women’s soccer team gave No. 16-ranked West Chester a scare, dropping a hard-fought 2-1 contest. Senior Lauren Straub scored in the 83rd minute off a Brooke Gehret assist to pull Lock Haven within a goal. Goalie Megan Miller is the program’s all-time saves leader and had seven more, giving her 345.

• Freshman Leandro Cruz scored twice and junior Aidan Stillman broke an 84th-minute tie with a goal of his own as the sixth-seeded Lycoming College men’s soccer team advanced to a Landmark Conference Championship semifinal with a 4-2 victory over No. 3-seed Moravian.

Lycoming (7-6-6) will head to No. 2 Catholic University of America on Wednesday at 6 p.m., with a berth in the championship match on the line.

The Warriors took the lead in the 15th minute, when Cruz cashed in off a pass from senior Christian Woobay to give the Warriors the early lead. In the 33rd minute, Lycoming doubled the lead, as sophomore Xavier Dandridge headed in a corner from senior Thomas Geyer. Moravian (9-6-4), though, scored three minutes later on a Colin Moyer goal from Logan Moore, closing the gap to 2-1 at halftime.

• Freshman Laurel Fite tied the game with a second-quarter goal, but third-seeded Elizabethtown College scored the last four goals of the game to get past the sixth-seeded Lycoming College field hockey team in a Landmark Conference Championship first round game.

After Sara Watson scored in the opening minutes of the game, the Warriors (10-8) responded in the fifth minute of the second quarter when sophomore Lacy Eckard (Muncy, Pa./Muncy) found Fite for her eighth goal of the season. Eckard, meanwhile, notched her team-leading sixth assist.

The Blue Jays (10-9) broke the tie 161 seconds later with a Drew Bridges goal, before they added one more goal in each of the final three quarters.

Senior Isabella Bobe posted 10 saves in the final game of her career, where she finished her career with 592 saves and won a program-record eight games as a junior before breaking that mark with 10 this season.

Mansfield closed its season with a 3-1 win against Slippery Rock. Kathleen Marchiani scored off a Jenna Duke assist less than two minutes into the game and Mansfield never trailed. Leah Toskey and Sophia Vadnais also scored for the Mounties.
