Woobay named First Team All-Conference

Lycoming College senior forward Christian Woobay closed out his outstanding collegiate career by being named First Team All-Landmark Conference Men’s Soccer team for the second season in a row, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

In his final collegiate season, Woobay tied for second in the conference in goals (6), finished second in total points (15) and third in points per game (0.79). He also added three assists. His season was highlighted by a four-point night (one goal, two assists) against Mount Aloysius on Sept. 13, earning him Landmark Conference Player of the Week accolades.

He previously earned first team All-Conference honors in 2024 after being tabbed to the conference second team in 2023. He is the first Warrior to earn first-team honors twice from the Landmark Conference and the first three-time all-conference selection from Lycoming since Braydon Wise was first team all-conference three times, being selected by the MAC Freedom in 2021-22 and the Landmark in 2023. Woobay was also a third-team all-region selection as a junior in 2024.

Woobay finished his career with 21 goals, tied for 14th in program history, and 14 assists, for 56 points, also 14th in program history, while his nine game-winning goals are tied for fifth. The Gaithersburg, Md., native was the first Warrior to reach 50 career points since Jordan Logan reached the mark in 2017.

The Warriors finished 7-7-5 in 2025 under second-year head coach John Schwien, including a five-match unbeaten streak that propelled Lycoming into the Landmark Conference Championship semifinals for the second time in three years.

Starting at $2.99/week.
