Montgomery’s Brandt Harer went 6-0 at the Mid-Winter Mayhem Tournament to improve to 29-0 this year and move up the all-time wins leaderboard in District 4 history. Harer is now 186-2 for his career and trails only brother Conner (191) in District 4 history.

The wins put Harer past Jaret Lane of Southern Columbia for second place.

All six of Harer’s victories were tech fall wins.

Harer earned a 17-1, 4:20 tech fall over Bishop McCort’s Jackson Butler to win the title at 145. He was the only local wrestler to take first at the event.

In the semifinals, Harer earned a 16-0, 2:47 tech fall against United’s Jo Garshnick and had a 17-2, 1:01 tech fall win in the quarterfinals over Trinity’s Noah Aubret.

In the first round, Harer had a 15-0, 30-second tech fall against Quakertown’s Max Crouse and he defeated Bradford’s Kennan Miller, 16-1, in 55 seconds. In the Round of 16, Harer cruised past Shippensburg’s Abe Luffy, 16-1, in 51 seconds.
