Williamsport competed in a swimming tri-meet with Selinsgrove and Mount Carmel and the girls and boys swim teams swept the competition. The Millionaire boys beat Selinsgrove, 123-20, and Mount Carmel, 119-37. The Millionaire girls beat Selinsgrove, 116-56, and Mount Carmel, 130-32.

Muncy’s Logan Diehl and Hughesville swimmers competed in the event as independents. Swimmers who are independent don’t have their times count towards winning duals or tri-meets, but have their times go toward qualifying for districts and seeding.

Miley Johnson won the 200 free with a time of 2:15.00, winning by nearly seven seconds over teammate Kyla Becker. Williamsport also saw Aviya Halstead claim a victory as she swam a time of 57.46 to win the 100 free, the only swimmer to break a minute in the event. Williamsport’s Dylana Richards took third in 1:01.85.

Olivia Godfrey took second for Williamsport in the 50 free in 30.29, behind only Selinsgrove’s Holly Grayston (26.35). Williamsport’s Olivia Godfrey took second in the 500 free with a time of 6:30.48 and Elli Halstead was third in 6:34.21.

The Millionaires’ saw Kiley Persun win the 100 breast in 1:18.17 as Williamsport went 1-2-3 in the event. Kyla Becker took second in 1:21.92 and Lynnae Campbell took third with a time of 1:24.73.

Addison Hill of Williamsport took second in the 100 back in 1:14.65 and Annie Ross took third in 1:21.69.

Williamsport’s Clover Lindsay won the 1-meter diving competition as she scored 147.10, winning narrowly over teammate Allie Eberhart, who scored a 140.25 in a close diving competition.

Williamsport’s Evan Weaver swam a 56.95 to win the 100 free while teammate Cy Haight took second in 59.06. Williamsport’s Cooper Allmaras won the 100 breast in 1:08.01, winning by less than a second over teammate Weaver. Peter Michaluk took third in 1:17.18. The Millionaires’ Nathaniel DePrenda won the 200 IM with a time of 2:19.42, winning by three seconds over Embry Gensemer of Mount Carmel. Haight took second in 2:12.36 as Selinsgrove’s Grant Pyers won in 2:08.37.

Max Fink of Williamsport won the 50 free by nearly a second with his time of 25.56, beating out teammate Alex Martyniuk who swam a 26.51 for second place.

Brady Ross claimed a win in the 500 free by swimming a 4:59.98, the only swimmer to break the five-minute mark.

Williamsport’s Brian Love-Ritchey, Aiden Li, Fink and Evan Summers swam a time of 1:39.62 to win the boys 200 free relay while the Millionaires’ girls team of Addison Hill, Johnson, Sarah Carothers and Halstead swam a time of 1:52.37.

Williamsport’s Allmaras Cooper, Nathaniel DePrenda, Summers and Ross won the 400 free relay in 3:51.73. Williamsport’s girls team of Persun, Annie Ross, Johnson and Halstead won the 400 free relay in 4:03.33.

Diehl swam a time of 1:57.76 to compete in the 200 free event. He also competed in the 100 free and swam a 53.68, which would have been good enough to win the event.

Hughesville’s Luke Siperko swam a 1:04.76 in the 100 free and 1:19.11 in the 100 breast. Evelyn Meckbach swam a time of 29.85 in the 50 free and 1:04.82 in the 100 free. Ashlynn Barlett swam a 2:20.49 in the 200 free and 1:18.86 in the 100 breast. Sydney Siperko competed i both the 50 free and 100 free and swam times of 32.42 and 1:14.22, respectively.
