Drug charges filed in separate cases
Accused drug dealer Deron Shadd, 30, of 724 Memorial Ave.,is behind bars after being arrested by the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit for allegedly selling bags of heroin or cocaine to a confidential informant or an undercover officer on three occasions in the city between Jan. 16 and Feb. 26, according to court records filed at the office of District Judge Christian Frey. He is jailed in lieu of $125,000 bail.
In another drug case, state Trooper Anthony Mazzone charged Lindsey Miller, 35, 75 1/2 Parkwood Place, with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child following an incident in the 1600 block of Marlin Parkway in Loyalsock Township about 6:45 p.m. on April 13.
The last charge stems from Miller having a minor child with her in her 2014 Nissan Versa when she had the illegal narcotic allegedly in her possession, Mazzone said. She is free on $5,000 bail.
