Lycoming County one new COVID-19 case

Sullivan County also sees one new cases today

HARRISBURG -The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., June 28, that there are 505 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 85,496. All 67 counties in Pennsylvania have cases of COVID-19.

Lycoming County has had 177 positive cases to date, Clinton 75 cases, Sullivan five cases and Tioga 24 cases.

There are 6,606 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 3 new deaths.

There are 657,486 patients who have tested negative to date statewide. Lycoming County has had 3,978 test negative to date.

The department of health reports the statewide recovery rate today as 78 percent. Individuals who have recovered is determined using a calculation, similar to what is being done by several other states. If a case has not been reported as a death, and it is more than 30 days past the date of their first positive test (or onset of symptoms) then an individual is considered recovered.
