Lycoming County one new COVID-19 case
HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., June 21, that there are 464 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 81,730. All 67 counties in Pennsylvania have cases of COVID-19.
Lycoming County has had 173 positive cases to date, Clinton 70 cases, Sullivan three cases and Tioga 22 cases.
There are 6,423 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 4 new deaths.
There are 576,015 patients who have tested negative to date statewide. Lycoming County has had 3,503 test negative to date.
The department of health reports the statewide recovery rate today as 77 percent. Individuals who have recovered is determined using a calculation, similar to what is being done by several other states. If a case has not been reported as a death, and it is more than 30 days past the date of their first positive test (or onset of symptoms) then an individual is considered recovered.
