Lycoming County 5 new COVID-19 cases

Tioga County sees 3 new cases

HARRISBURG-The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., September 29 that there were 988 new cases, of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 157,814.

There were 16 new deaths reported for a total of 8,123 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

The percentage of recovered cases today is 82 percent. Individuals who have recovered is determined using a calculation, similar to what is being done by several other states. If a case has not been reported as a death, and it is more than 30 days past the date of their first positive test (or onset of symptoms) then an individual is considered recovered.

Lycoming County has had 699 positive cases to date, (658 confirmed and 41 probable), 5 new today; Clinton 208 (188 confirmed and 20 probable) 1 new today; Sullivan 13 cases (8 confirmed and 5 probable) one new today and Tioga 73 cases, (57 confirmed and 16 probable) 3 new today

Lycoming County has 2 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, none are on a ventilator. Montour County has 24 patients, 2 are on a ventilator.
