Lycoming County 11 new COVID-19 cases

Tioga County sees 4 new cases, Clinton 3

HARRISBURG-The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., October 21, that there were 1,425 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 186,297.

Allegheny County is reporting an increase of 114 cases and Philadelphia County is reporting an increase of 100 cases.

The number of tests administered within the last 7 days between October 14 and October 20 is 225,406 with 10,226 positive cases. There were 25,152 test results reported to the department through 10 p.m., October 20.

There are 8,562 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 29 new deaths reported.

The percentage of recovered cases today is 79 percent. Individuals who have recovered is determined using a calculation, similar to what is being done by several other states. If a case has not been reported as a death, and it is more than 30 days past the date of their first positive test (or onset of symptoms) then an individual is considered recovered.

Lycoming County has had 902 positive cases to date, (852 confirmed and 50 probable), 11 new today; Clinton 245 (217 confirmed and 28 probable) 3 new today; Sullivan 16 cases (11 confirmed and 5 probable) none new today and Tioga 159 cases, 132 confirmed and 27 probable) 4 new today
