Lycoming County 14 new COVID-19 cases

Tioga County sees 6 new cases, Clinton 2

HARRISBURG- The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., October 25, that there were 1,666 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 194,288. Daily increases are now comparable with what we saw in April 2020.

There are 8,666 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 12 new deaths reported.

The percentage of recovered cases today is 78 percent. Individuals who have recovered is determined using a calculation, similar to what is being done by several other states. If a case has not been reported as a death, and it is more than 30 days past the date of their first positive test (or onset of symptoms) then an individual is considered recovered.

Lycoming County has had 942 positive cases to date, (881 confirmed and 61 probable), 14 new today; Clinton 255 (226 confirmed and 29 probable) 2 new today; Sullivan 18 cases (13 confirmed and 5 probable) one new today and Tioga 194 cases, 155 confirmed and 33 probable) 6 new today

63 Lycoming County residents tested negative in the last 24 hours.

Lycoming County has 13 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, none on ventilators; Montour County 20 patients with 9 on ventilators.
