Lycoming County 35 new COVID-19 cases
Tioga County sees 27 new cases, Clinton 7
HARRISBURG-The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., November 9, that there were 3,402 new cases, in addition to 2,909 new cases reported Sunday, November 8 for a two-day total of 6,311 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 234,296.
The number of tests administered within the last 7 days between November 2 and November 8 is 329,072 with 20,958 positive cases. There were 40,108 test results reported to the department through 10 p.m., November 7 and 38,284 test results reported to the department through 10 p.m., November 8.
As of 11:59 p.m., Saturday November 8, there were five new deaths and as of 11:59 p.m., Sunday November 9, there were four new deaths reported for a total of 9,024 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
The percentage of recovered cases today is 73 percent. Individuals who have recovered is determined using a calculation, similar to what is being done by several other states. If a case has not been reported as a death, and it is more than 30 days past the date of their first positive test (or onset of symptoms) then an individual is considered recovered.
Lycoming County has had 1117 positive cases to date, (1035 confirmed and 82 probable), 35 new today (15 Sunday and 20 Monday); Clinton 331 (290 confirmed and 41 probable) 7 new today; Sullivan 22 cases (17 confirmed and 5 probable) none new today and Tioga 360 cases, (317 confirmed and 43 probable) 27 new today (22 Sunday and 5 Monday)

Lycoming County has 19 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, 2 are on ventilators; Montour County 33 patients with 7 on ventilators.
