The numbers have been rising in Pennsylvania, and concerns about COVID-19 have been at the forefront of conversation in many circles.
Among those are the churches. For the most part, church services are continuing with the mitigation efforts already established, but that’s not the case with the Episcopal churches. In-person services have been suspended for now.
Meanwhile, school officials have been closely monitoring the situation. They’ve spent much effort developing step-by-step details of what to do when a staff member or student gets sick with the coronavirus, yet that hasn’t settled the nerves of many parents, including those in East Lycoming School District.
Meanwhile, out in Sullivan County, a school board member apologized for comments opposing an LGBTQ display in the Sullivan County High School Library.
