Lycoming County 41 new COVID-19 cases

HARRISBURG- The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., April 8, there were 4,746 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 1,059,044.

There were 42 new deaths identified by the Pennsylvania death registry, reported for a total of 25,327 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

Lycoming County has had 10,556 cases to date (8,933 confirmed, 1,623 probable) 41 new today; Clinton County 3,203 (2,884 confirmed, 319 probable) 11 new today; Tioga County 2,700 cases (2,310 confirmed, 390 probable) 15 new today; Sullivan County 355 (284 confirmed, 71 probable) 4 new today and Northumberland 8,727 (7,484 confirmed, 1,243 probable) 29 new today.

Lycoming County has 16 COVID-19 patients hospitalized, 8 in the ICU and 3 on a ventilator and 3 available adult ICU beds. Clinton County has two COVID-19 patient, Tioga County has 4 COVID-19 patients, 2 in the ICU and 1 on a ventilator and 1 available ICU bed and Northumberland County has 2 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, 2 in the ICU and 0 on a ventilator and 0 available ICU beds.

1,810,828 people are partially vaccinated, meaning they have received one dose of a two-dose vaccine.

3,936,654 people have received at least their first dose.
