RALSTON – Killed in Tuesday’s double fatal crash on Route 14 were Beverly Seeley, 70, and her mother Elizabeth Morgan, 89, both of Canton, according to state police.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

They were passengers in a Toyota Tundra driven by Seeley’s husband, Fredric Seeley, also 70, of Canton, police said.

Seeley was traveling north on Route 14 and crossed into the southbound lane, where his truck collided with a Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by James Carpenter, 75, of Mansfield, about 1:10 p.m., police said.

Fredric Seeley was admitted to UPMC Williamsport while Carpenter was treated at Guthrire Troy Community Hospital, Troy, police said.

The investigation into the crash was ongoing. Police did not know why Seeley crossed into the opposite lane of traffic.
