Muncy Dunkin Donuts evacuated due to fire

MUNCY – A fire at Dunkin Donuts, 1380 E. Penn St., broke out about 10:10 a.m. Friday, sending several volunteer fire companies to the scene

First fire personnel to arrive reported smoke inside the structure, and a fire was soon discovered in the roof.

There were no reports of injuries.

In Montoursville, firefighters were called to 311 Willow St. for a report of a gas odor in a home just after 11 a.m. Friday. The gas company also was responding. It was believed the problem was with a boiler, according to reports at the scene.
