Homeless woman charged with stealing car in Jersey Shore

Diana Babb, 46, who is homeless, has been arrested on charges of stealing Kathleen Trump’s 2009 Ford Fusion from the 800 block of McClintock Alley in Jersey Shore on the morning of Jan. 31, Lycoming regional police alleged in the affidavit. Trump left her purse in the car, police said, adding that while Babb had the car, she allegedly used one of Trump’s credit cards at a store near Watsontown. Arrested with the car in the 100 block of Maynard Street on Sunday afternoon, Babb was arraigned before District Judge Christian Frey on felony charges of theft and receiving stolen property as well as access device fraud, a misdemeanor, and driving with a license that was suspended for a DUI offense. She remains incarcerated in lieu of $25,000 bail.
