Williamsport man allegedly bought items with stolen card

Keith William Johns, 50, of 715 Third Ave., Williamsport, has been arrested on charges of allegedly using a stolen credit card to make five purchases that totaled $221 at various businesses in the city in early December, city police said. It was alleged that Johns used the victim’s card to buy alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, gas and lottery tickets, police said. Following his arraignment before District Judge Christian Frey on charges of felony forgery, receiving stolen property and five counts of access device fraud, Johns was released on $7,500 bail. He waived his preliminary hearing earlier this week.
