Ja’hsir Kahseem Legare, the alleged shooter in a fatal shooting at TGI Fridays on March 2, 2024 was arraigned before District Judge Christian Frey Wednesday afternoon.

Frey denied bail, citing the charges, which includes criminal homicide, aggravated assault, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of a firearm without a license, possession of an instrument of crime, possession of a weapon, recklessly endangering another person, criminal mischief and criminal use of a communication facility, according to an affidavit.

Legare is scheduled for a preliminary hearing before District Judge Gary Whiteman at 1:30 on March 17.

Lycoming County District Attorney Tom Marino is scheduled to hold a press conference on the matter at 2:30 p.m.
