JERSEY SHORE – Motorists traveling south on Route 220 in Porter Township are advised to use caution as firefighters work to extinguish a stack of flat cardboard boxes that caught fire on a trailer, just north of the Thomas Street interchange, about 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, according to emergency responders. Upon seeing the fire, the driver of the pickup truck pulling the trailer quickly pulled over and unhooked the trailer, Jersey Shore fire officials. The fire ignited a small amount of brush as well.
